Juani Garcia began her professional career in Madrid with Paco Fernandez. She then worked with the Paco Mundo Company in Madrid and Mallorca. She has since performed with her own company in Madrid, Malaga, Portugal and extensively throughout the British Isles. As a guest artist she has appeared at the Royal Festival and Queen Elizabeth Halls and the Barbican Theatre and in concert with Sade, and has numerous TV appearances, including 'Wogan' with Boy George, 'Eastern Eye', 'Pebble Mill', 'Network East', Channel Four's 'Dance Till You Drop', the 'Miss World Show', 'KYTV', 'Blue Peter' and BBC's 'A Tribute to Miles Davies'. As a choreographer, performer and guest teacher, her work has taken her to Norway, Trinidad and Tobago and on extensive trips to India and the USA. At present she is the principal dancer with VIVA FLAMENCO, which recently appeared in a dance drama 'El Caballo de Espana' a lavish production combining the Feria horses of Seville with Flamenco dancing. She has also appeared in the mega-production of 'Carmen' in Birmingham and Germany. This year she has been invited to Canada and the USA for fusion shows performing 'Kathak', the classical Indian dance style.
